Senior Pastor  |  Pastor Gordon Rogers

Pastor Gordon Rogers was born and raised  in Southern Colorado. He was saved at the age of 12 at a youth camp in Palmer Lake, Colorado. At age 13 he surrendered to God’s call to full-time Ministry.

He met his wife, Kathy, while attending Bible College, and got married in 1983. He graduated from Bible college in 1985 and went to serve at a church in Haughton, LA. as an assistant pastor for 5 years. He also served as an assistant pastor and school administrator in Albuquerque, N.M. for 5 years. 

He has now been the pastor of Rocky Mountain Baptist Church in Pueblo, CO. since 1998. Pastor Rogers heartbeat is that of a Pastor. He loves the Church, and even through tremendous growth, Rocky Mountain Baptist Church has maintained its close-knit family atmosphere and its passion for serving people.

Under Pastor Rogers’ leadership, the church weekly engages in strategic and systematic ministry to the Pueblo community including: age-specific adult Bible classes, children’s ministries,  city-wide bus ministry, and addiction recovery program. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Pastor Rogers directly

Associate Pastor  |  Steven Fine

 
Pastor Fine had the privilege of being raised in a Christian home. At the age of 14 he accepted the Lord as His personal Saviour. Four years later, at the age of 18, he surrendered his life to full-time ministry.
 
     He spent the next several years in preparation at a few different Bible colleges. From 2005-2007 he attended Pensacola Christian College. In 2007 he transferred to Maranatha Baptist Bible College in Watertown, Il. In 2009, he graduated from MBBC with a B.A. in Church Ministries. During his undergraduate years, he faithfully served in ministry under Pastor Wesley Waddle in both Tennessee and Illinois. In 2010, he received a M.A. in Biblical studies at West Coast Baptist College. 
 
     After graduating from WCBC, he went to Pueblo, Colorado to work on the church staff of Rocky Mountain Baptist Church. In April of 2011, he was married to his wife, Rebekah. He faithfully directs children’s ministries, leads the congregational singing, participates in the special music program of the church, and assists Pastor Rogers in a myriad of other areas.
